TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In order to maintain a pleasant working atmosphere while carrying out your projects, we kindly ask you to respect the following regulations.

AGE

Minors are not allowed on the premises for security reasons.

DRESS CODE

You must wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment when working on site;

• Wear safety glasses when operating machines and tools;
• Wear a mask, mandatory during the Covid-19 pandemic period;
• Wear closed toe shoes (preferably work shoes);
• Wear work clothes suitable for manual work. (Avoid loose clothing.)

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Paquand team is not responsible for the theft or damage of your personal items. It is your responsibility to bring back your materials, tools and all your personal belongings when you have completed your session.

APPOINTMENT

• Please schedule an appointment by email before any meeting on our premises. (Wait for confirmation from the Paquand team before coming).
• You must arrive no later than the first 15 minutes of the time frame booked for you, otherwise it will be cancelled.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

• We do not accept cheques or cash.
• Payment is due following the use of the equipment and will be calculated in 15 minute periods. It will start as soon as you choose and book your workstation (CNC machine) by placing your workpiece panel on it.
• A deposit may be required for some services.
• No refunds on projects, machine time or damaged materials.
• No refund on all orders for printed/manufactured parts in progress and/or completed.
• No refunds on time banks, monthly subscriptions and regular hourly rates.
• Hourly Rates: You must pay in full for your machining hours before leaving the premises.
• You must first pay for your hours in order to benefit from discounts on our rate plans for using CNCs.
• Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly sessions are not cumulative from one month to another. A session cannot be divided into separate and cumulative hours.
• Monthly subscriptions and hour banks: Your plan ends when your hour bank is empty. You are responsible for purchasing a new time bank or selecting another plan to continue the work in progress.
• 3D printing: The part is payable in full before starting its printing.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COUNTERFEITING

Please make sure you own the reproduction rights for your creations on our CNC machines, 3D printing or CAD/CAM. All your realizations violating the law on intellectual property and counterfeiting are under your full responsibility.

BEHAVIOUR ON THE PREMISES

• The cleanliness of the premises is mandatory and you must clean your workstation after use.
• It is forbidden to circulate in areas reserved for Paquand employees.
• Courtesy is required and any inappropriate behaviour (aggressiveness, sexual comments, vandalism, theft, coarse language) will lead to immediate eviction from the premises.
• It is forbidden to smoke, use drugs or alcohol on the premises.
• Machinery and tools should be handled with care. You are advised that they carry risks in their use; therefore, you are responsible for any injuries resulting from the handling of materials, tools and machines deemed dangerous, inappropriate or contrary to Paquand regulations. Careless behavior or improper handling of the equipment may lead to eviction.

COVID-19: SAFETY MEASURES

• All individuals with a positive diagnosis of COVID-19, who are awaiting a test result, who have symptoms of COVID-19, who have been instructed to isolate, or who have been in contact with individuals with signs of COVID-19 within the last 14 days are asked not to attend the site.
• You are required to wear a face mask at all times on the premises, otherwise you will be expelled. (Cover your nose and mouth).
• Upon arrival, you must wash/disinfect your hands. Regularly disinfect your hands while you are on the premises.
• Do not share tools. If you must, disinfect them between uses.
