It is only recently, in January 2020, that Daniel Thibault, passionate about innovation and industrial design, joined the Paquand team. As a teenager, he was already tinkering with prototypes and industrial designs in the family workshop. Following his passion, he obtained a bachelor’s degree specialized in industrial design at the Université de Montréal in 1995. After more than 10 years as an employee in various companies, from SMEs to multinationals, he decided to found his own consulting industrial design firm, Skerpa Design inc. His company has developed many innovative products and won first prize in its category at the NOVAE competition in 2011. It was in 2019 that Daniel discovered Paquand and fell under the spell of this unique concept and the services offered to the public. Possessing a good knowledge and a solid experience in entrepreneurship and industrial design, Daniel is a valuable member of the Paquand team in addition to being a considerable asset for the company’s growth.

Passionate about both traditional and digital arts, Stéphanie is enriched by new creative techniques through the execution of various projects. In 2012, she obtained a first degree in 3D animation, which led her to pursue her training to obtain a second degree in graphic design for which she specializes. Constantly looking for new challenges and personal enrichment, Stéphanie quickly accumulated her experience in web and print design through freelance work with agencies as well as for her own company Design Libellife. Inspired by Paquand’s creative and innovative side, it is with enthusiasm that Stéphanie has actively taken part in graphic and textual content projects and has been assiduously involved in the management and growth of the company.

President and Founder; Research, Manufacturing and Product Development

Self-taught and passionate about science and technology, André expands his knowledge of numerous programming languages, mechanical engineering, electronics, robotics and much more. Immersed in the world of technology since childhood, he completed a DEC in pure and natural sciences, a DEC in engineering and mechanical design as well as a DEP in electromechanics of automated systems, for which he received a distinction. He has greatly increased his knowledge by experimenting with many personal projects, such as car mechanics, robotics and electric bicycles, to name a few. In 2016, he manufactured his first CNC from scratch and made several sales, notably to the engineering department of the Université de Sherbrooke. In 2019, André opened a large workshop where he offers the rental of his own CNC machines. It is therefore out of passion and a desire to share with other enthusiasts all the possibilities offered by the incredible world of technology that André invests all his heart in his company, Paquand.

Product Manufacturing and Technical Support

With a strong passion for technology, Philippe enthusiastically expands his knowledge through personal experimentation and documentation. He has accumulated his experience in various fields such as telecommunications, assembly of complex parts, mechanics and technical inspection of heavy vehicles. At Paquand, Philippe enjoys great freedom in exploiting his many interests and talents. As a result, he can easily take up new challenges and exploit his technical, mechanical and electronic knowledge for the manufacturing of CNC machines and product development. His enthusiasm, determination and interpersonal skills make him a valuable collaborator.
